st pete travel diary
This past week I loved visiting St. Pete & to get back into blogging I thought I would share a little travel diary :)
First off, one of my favorite places in St. Pete is the Dali Museum. Not only do I love Salvador Dali's art, the building is BEAUTIFUL. The archietcture is so cool.
They also had a temporary Frida Kahlo exhibit. Frida is one of my favorite artists and I loved seeing all of her paintings.
Outside the Dali, they have the "Dali Wish Tree. After visiting, you tie your wristband on and make a wish.
The Dali overlooks the harbor just like Beach Drive. Beach Drive is essentially the main street of Downtown St Pete that lines up against the water. Between all the restaurants and shopping is a big park filled with beautiful trees.
One of my favorite things about St. Pete is that it is filled with street art. Not only do they have great museums and art collections scattered around, but each corner driving around is filled with murals.
Overall St. Pete is generally one of my favorite places to visit- mainly for family. St. Pete is filled with such beautiful art and right by the beach. There's a definite reason they call it sunshine city.
Hope you enjoyed!
